Chief Audette, the City of Augusta and the Maine State Fire Marshal's Office would like to thank Chief Rob F. Duval, Senior Fire Investigator from the NFPA for his presentation “Fire Service and PV Installations”.  "PV" stands for Photovoltaic, a form of solar panel.  This class was held on 9/15/15 at Florian Hall in Augusta.  The biggest take away from this class was that these systems are ACTIVE or LIVE whenever there is ambient light shining on them. Please follow this link for a copy of the presentation or go to "Additional Resources" in the left hand column for all the supporting documents.
